⚠ Important candidate warning Martinet Technologies does not authorise anyone to demand money from a candidate as a condition of applying, interviewing, receiving an offer, completing recruitment or joining the company. Treat unexpected payment requests as a serious warning sign and verify the communication independently.

What we will never ask you to do

  • Pay a recruitment, interview, registration or processing fee.
  • Pay money to obtain an offer letter or secure a job.
  • Pay a refundable “security deposit” for recruitment.
  • Share your OTP, ATM PIN, CVV, banking password or UPI PIN.
  • Give a recruiter remote access to your computer or phone.
  • Install unknown applications at a recruiter's request.
  • Transfer money to a personal bank account to “activate” employment.
  • Purchase cryptocurrency, gift cards or other instruments as part of recruitment.

How to verify a recruitment communication

1. Check the source Confirm that the vacancy exists on the official Martinet Technologies careers channel.
2. Check the sender Be cautious of look-alike domains, free email accounts and impersonation.
3. Check the request Urgency, secrecy, payment demands or requests for credentials are major red flags.
4. Verify independently Contact HR using a trusted official contact rather than replying to the suspicious message.

Common recruitment scam warning signs

Fraudsters may copy company names, logos, job descriptions, recruiter profiles or offer-letter formats. A professional-looking message is not proof that the sender is genuine.

  • an offer without a credible interview or selection process;
  • pressure to make an immediate payment;
  • requests to communicate only through WhatsApp, Telegram or another unofficial channel;
  • email addresses or websites that imitate but do not exactly match an authorised domain;
  • requests for sensitive banking credentials or authentication codes;
  • requests to buy equipment, vouchers or software from a specified seller;
  • claims that a job will be cancelled unless you pay immediately;
  • poorly matched job descriptions, inconsistent company information or unusual promises of guaranteed employment; and
  • requests to keep the transaction or communication secret from the company.

Before sharing documents

A genuine recruitment process may require documents at appropriate stages. Before uploading identity, financial, educational or employment documents, make sure you know who is requesting them and why.

  • Do not send unnecessary documents to an unknown person.
  • Do not send passwords or authentication codes with documents.
  • Prefer the company's authorised recruitment system or verified HR channel.
  • Question unusual requests for documents unrelated to the role.

If you receive a suspicious offer

  1. Stop communicating if the request appears fraudulent.
  2. Do not click suspicious links or open unexpected attachments.
  3. Do not make any payment.
  4. Do not share OTPs, PINs, passwords or financial credentials.
  5. Save the emails, messages, phone numbers, URLs, documents and payment details as evidence.
  6. Verify the claim independently through an official Martinet Technologies channel.
