Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Architect with strong expertise in Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and hands-on experience with Wiz.io** for a consulting engagement with a utility-sector client.

The consultant will be responsible for evaluating the client's cloud security posture, reviewing existing project documentation, validating AI-generated technical outputs, and developing a comprehensive security architecture and detailed implementation design for Wiz.io.

The engagement will primarily focus on cloud security across Microsoft Azure and SAP environments. The ideal candidate should have strong architectural expertise, the ability to assess enterprise cloud security requirements, and experience translating technical requirements into practical security implementation plans.

Key Responsibilities

* Review and assess existing project documentation related to Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Wiz.io, and cloud security architecture.
* Design and evaluate security architecture for implementing Wiz.io across the client's cloud environments.
* Assess cloud security configurations, vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and security risks across Microsoft Azure and SAP environments.
* Review, validate, and refine AI-generated consulting outputs to ensure technical accuracy, architectural consistency, and alignment with security best practices.
* Refine AI prompts and provide the appropriate technical context to improve the quality and accuracy of AI-generated security recommendations.
* Develop a high-level security architecture and evaluation framework for assessing the client's cloud security posture.
* Conduct discovery activities to gather and document technical requirements, existing security controls, and integration dependencies.
* Identify security gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement in the client's existing cloud environment.
* Prepare a comprehensive Wiz.io implementation design document, including architecture, integration requirements, configuration considerations, and implementation recommendations.
* Collaborate with client stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure the proposed architecture aligns with business and security objectives.
* Support the transition from the initial discovery and high-level design phase to the detailed implementation design phase.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

10+ years of overall experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or security architecture.
* Strong experience in Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and enterprise cloud security architecture.
* Direct, hands-on experience in **designing and implementing Wiz.io solutions**.
* Strong understanding of cloud security assessment, configuration management, vulnerability management, and cloud risk identification.
* Experience assessing and securing **Microsoft Azure** environments.
* Experience working with or assessing security configurations across **SAP environments.
* Ability to review technical documentation, evaluate existing architectures, identify security gaps, and develop detailed implementation designs.
* Experience translating business and technical requirements into scalable cloud security architecture.
* Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
* Ability to work independently in a consulting engagement with a flexible workload.
* Availability to overlap with Australian business hours for at least four hours per working day.

Good-to-Have Skills

* Experience using AI tools for technical consulting, architecture documentation, or security assessments.
* Knowledge of prompt engineering and techniques for improving AI-generated technical outputs.
* Previous experience working with utility, electricity, energy, or other critical infrastructure clients.
* Experience delivering cloud security architecture consulting engagements for large enterprises.

Engagement Details

Project Duration: 3 months.
Initial Phase: Part-time discovery, documentation review, requirements gathering, and high-level architecture design.
Workload: Minimum 2 days per week, with the possibility of increasing the workload based on project requirements.
Final Phase: Approximately 1–2 weeks of full-time engagement may be required to complete the detailed implementation design.
Work Location: Fully remote.
Time Zone: Must maintain at least four hours of overlap with Australian business hours.

Expected Deliverables

1. Assessment and review of existing CSPM and Wiz.io-related documentation.
2. Validation and refinement of AI-generated technical consulting outputs.
3. Cloud security architecture assessment and high-level design.
4. Documented client requirements, security gaps, risks, and integration dependencies.
5. A detailed Wiz.io implementation design document with architecture recommendations and technical considerations.

Important: Candidates must have direct Wiz.io architecture and implementation experience, along with relevant cloud security assessment expertise. General cybersecurity or Azure security experience without practical Wiz.io experience will not be sufficient.
