Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Technical Lead – Application Development with approximately 5 years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js for backend/service development, MongoDB for database management, and modern frontend technologies.
The candidate will be responsible for guiding the development team, translating business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring code quality, and delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of web applications.
Develop and maintain application services and APIs using Node.js.
Design, implement, and optimize MongoDB databases, schemas, indexes, and queries.
Build responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and a modern frontend framework such as React.js or Angular.
Define application architecture, coding standards, development practices, and reusable components.
Guide developers through code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps teams to deliver projects on time.
Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
Ensure application security, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
Manage version control, build processes, deployments, and production issue resolution.
Mentor team members and support technical decision-making.
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, technical discussions, and project status reviews.

Required Technical Skills :
Backend Development
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
Experience developing REST APIs and backend services.
Understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and error handling.
Familiarity with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
Database
Strong working knowledge of MongoDB.
Experience with schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines, and query optimization.
Understanding of database performance, data modelling, and backup/recovery practices.
Frontend Development
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience with React.js or Angular.
Knowledge of responsive web design and frontend-backend integration.
Tools and Practices
Git and source code management.
Unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and code reviews.
Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and application deployment.
Understanding of application security and performance optimization.

Experience and Qualifications
Approximately 5 years of experience in application development.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of technical deliverables and guide developers.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred.

Preferred Skills
Experience deploying applications on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud platform.
Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
Experience monitoring applications and troubleshooting production issues.
Understanding of microservices architecture and scalable application design.
