Job Description
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in manual testing, functional testing, regression testing, API testing, and defect management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans, SQL, and Azure tools, along with the ability to understand business requirements, manage test data, and support release acceptance.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and functional requirements to identify test scenarios and prepare detailed test cases.
Prepare and execute functional, regression, and other relevant manual test cases.
Create, maintain, and validate test data for different testing scenarios.
Use Azure DevOps Test Plans to manage test cases, execute tests, and track results.
Perform API testing using appropriate tools and validate application responses and integrations.
Use SQL queries to verify database records, data accuracy, and business logic.
Utilize Azure Service Bus Explorer and Azure Storage Explorer to investigate and validate messaging and storage-related functionality.
Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
Retest defect fixes and perform regression testing to ensure issues are resolved without impacting existing functionality.
Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain quality standards.
Support release acceptance by validating application readiness against defined business requirements.
Maintain test documentation and communicate testing progress, risks, and results to relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
4–7 years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing.
Strong hands-on experience in functional and regression testing.
Practical knowledge of Azure DevOps Test Plans and test execution management.
Experience with SQL queries and database validation.
Knowledge of API testing tools and application integration testing.
Familiarity with Azure Service Bus Explorer and Azure Storage Explorer.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect life cycles, and test case design.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Good understanding of business processes and requirements.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and ownership skills.
Willingness to work according to UK business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with UK or European clients.
Domain experience in Facilities Management, Property Management, Field Services, or ERP systems.
Experience testing enterprise applications, APIs, and integrated systems.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
