Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Python Automation Framework Developer to develop and maintain automation frameworks, test scripts, and test artifacts for production-ready software. The candidate will analyze software specifications, design test plans and test cases, execute different levels of testing, and verify software functionality in embedded and real-time environments.
The ideal candidate should have strong Python programming skills, experience with test automation frameworks, and knowledge of embedded systems, system testing, and CI/CD tools.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze software specifications and develop test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Perform system, integration, regression, functional, sanity, and other relevant testing.
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using Python.
Work with automation frameworks such as Pytest, Robot Framework, TestStack, AutoIt, NI LabVIEW, or Spectron.
Execute test cases, identify defects, document inconsistencies, and track issues through resolution.
Generate and maintain test reports using Jenkins and Git-based CI/CD workflows.
Debug software in real-time, embedded, multiprocessor, and multi-interface environments.
Perform system testing involving communication interfaces and drivers such as SPI, I2C, and UART.
Test software running on RTOS, Linux, and Android-based platforms.
Use software development and debugging tools, including debuggers, emulators, and compilers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve software quality and testing efficiency.
Apply software engineering and quality assurance principles throughout the software verification lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
5–7 years of relevant experience in Python automation and software testing.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
Hands-on experience developing automation frameworks and scripts using Python.
Strong understanding of all phases of STLC.
Experience with at least one industry-standard automation framework.
Experience debugging software in embedded or real-time environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work from the Bangalore office on all working days.
