The Ecosystem Manager acts as a key link between business functions and technology teams, ensuring alignment across integration planning, release management, testing, deployment, and ongoing operational support. The role is instrumental in managing interdependencies across enterprise platforms, maintaining consistent data exchange, minimizing implementation risks, and enabling the successful execution of complex transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Integration Management
- Direct integration activities across ERP platforms and associated enterprise applications to ensure consistent system interoperability and business process continuity.
- Engage with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to establish integration priorities, define technical and functional requirements, and coordinate implementation activities.
- Oversee interface design and development, system connectivity, and integration preparedness throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
- Act as the central coordinator for integration-related activities, facilitating collaboration and timely decision-making across business and technical teams.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage dependencies between interconnected applications to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth execution of end-to-end business processes.
Release, Testing, and Deployment Coordination
- Manage application and integration readiness across system integration testing, user acceptance testing, production releases, deployment execution, and post-implementation support.
- Ensure the availability and readiness of system connectivity, test data, and technical environments before testing cycles and production deployments begin.
- Establish and oversee testing approaches, including integration testing, validation procedures, and smoke testing, to verify system stability and readiness.
- Coordinate the consistency and exchange of master and transactional data across applications to meet testing requirements and support business operations.
- Proactively evaluate cross-application dependencies, release risks, and potential implementation challenges, ensuring appropriate mitigation measures are established and tracked.
- Maintain integrated environment and deployment schedules, identifying resource constraints, release conflicts, technical dependencies, and potential impacts on business operations.
Operational Support and Incident Management
- Coordinate the investigation and resolution of integration-related incidents affecting business processes, testing execution, or live production environments.
- Drive root cause analysis in collaboration with internal technology teams and external service providers, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
- Review integration performance and service trends, identifying improvement opportunities to enhance platform availability, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
Budget and Resource Management
- Prepare and administer annual budgets covering integration delivery, ecosystem management, and related operational activities.
- Evaluate actual expenditure against approved financial plans, identify budget deviations and emerging risks, and recommend appropriate cost optimization measures.
- Forecast resource requirements and coordinate capacity allocation for major releases, testing programs, deployment milestones, and post-go-live stabilization and support.
