Experience: 10+ Years

Employment Type: Contract (C2C)

Work Mode: Remote

Job Description

The Ecosystem Manager is accountable for managing and advancing the Make Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) landscape within the IM TranSCend ecosystem. The role aligns manufacturing objectives and program priorities with a governed, multi-year strategic roadmap, while directing portfolio decisions, application lifecycle oversight, system integration, implementation preparedness, service delivery, risk controls, and continuous enhancement.

The scope encompasses MES solutions and their interfaces with ERP, automation, laboratory, quality, data, and external partner systems. Success in this role is demonstrated through consistent delivery of transformation initiatives, effective control of integration and deployment risks, stable manufacturing operations, robust vendor and financial management, and adherence to applicable compliance requirements across manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Integration Management

- Lead the integration of ERP platforms with interconnected enterprise systems to ensure consistent information flow and seamless business operations.
- Collaborate with business owners, technical teams, and external service providers to establish integration priorities, clarify requirements, and coordinate delivery approaches.
- Direct the planning and execution of system connectivity, interface development, and integration preparedness across project stages.
- Act as the key liaison for integration initiatives, aligning stakeholders and facilitating coordination across business and technology functions.
- Identify and manage dependencies between applications, manufacturing locations, release timelines, and infrastructure components to maintain manufacturing continuity and support reliable execution of end-to-end business processes.
- Establish and oversee the multi-year Make MES product and ecosystem strategy, ensuring alignment between global standards, justified site-level requirements, business priorities, technical sustainability, and available resources.

2. Transformation Delivery, Validation, Release, and Deployment Governance

- Drive MES and integration delivery across the complete implementation lifecycle, from design and build through system integration testing, user acceptance testing, validation, cutover, production rollout, hypercare, and transition to business-as-usual support.
- Ensure all critical prerequisites, including network connectivity, infrastructure, access controls, monitoring, test data, master data, and environment configuration, are in place before testing, validation, cutover, and deployment.
- Define and oversee testing frameworks and execution plans, incorporating integration verification, smoke testing, and other relevant quality checks.
- Maintain data consistency across connected platforms by overseeing the synchronization of master and transactional data required for testing and manufacturing operations.
- Consolidate and monitor risks, assumptions, issues, decisions, and regulatory considerations across systems and releases; facilitate early escalation of significant concerns and ensure mitigation measures have clear ownership and are completed on time.
- Create and maintain environment and deployment schedules, evaluating interdependencies, potential scheduling conflicts, technical limitations, and impacts on manufacturing operations.

3. Operational Support and Incident Management

- Oversee the management and resolution of integration incidents that disrupt business processes, affect testing timelines, or compromise production system performance.
- Facilitate structured root cause investigations and coordinate corrective and preventive measures with internal technology teams and external vendors to prevent recurring issues.
- Assess integration performance, identify recurring service challenges, and implement improvement initiatives to strengthen system stability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

4. Budget and Resource Management

- Prepare and oversee annual budgets for MES integration, ecosystem operations, and associated delivery activities.
- Track financial performance against approved budgets, assess deviations and emerging cost risks, and identify opportunities to optimize expenditure.
- Determine resource and capacity requirements and coordinate their allocation across major releases, testing phases, deployment programs, and post-production support activities.

Qualifications

Required

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing technology, enterprise applications, ERP ecosystems, MES products, or large-scale systems integration, with demonstrated accountability for teams, vendors, budgets, and complex transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated capability to manage complex portfolios involving global and site-level teams, influence stakeholders without direct reporting authority, make clear and informed trade-off decisions, resolve competing priorities, and ensure internal and external delivery partners meet their commitments.
- Substantial experience working with ERP platforms and integrating enterprise applications across complex technology environments.
- Understanding of enterprise architecture and integration approaches, including APIs, middleware solutions, cloud technologies, and data exchange standards.
- Proven experience managing enterprise software releases, comprehensive testing cycles, and large-scale deployment programs.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data management practices, and synchronization across interconnected applications.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and executive-level relationship management capabilities.

Preferred

- Good understanding of enterprise supply chain applications, workflows, and business processes.
- Previous involvement in digital transformation initiatives, ERP upgrades, or enterprise modernization programs.
- Experience in regulated industries, ideally within manufacturing, healthcare, or life sciences, with an understanding of relevant compliance expectations.
- Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or comparable enterprise application platforms.
- Familiarity with integration technologies and services such as SAP BTP, AWS, EDI, API management solutions, and middleware platforms.

What You'll Bring

- The ability to lead, influence, and align stakeholders across complex, globally distributed, and matrix-based organizational structures.
- A balanced approach to long-term strategic direction, governance, and practical delivery execution.
- A forward-looking approach to problem-solving, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
- The ability to navigate uncertainty, simplify complex technology decisions, establish effective partnerships with manufacturing and quality leadership, and deliver solutions that are compliant, reliable, resilient, and scalable.
