Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in on-premises Kubernetes, Linux infrastructure, networking, and database administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, upgrade, and manage on-premises/bare-metal Kubernetes clusters.
Handle cluster lifecycle, node management, etcd backup, recovery, and troubleshooting.
Manage Linux infrastructure, networking, storage, and performance optimization.
Administer PostgreSQL and Apache Cassandra, including replication, backup, recovery, HA, and performance tuning.
Manage Kubernetes networking, load balancers, and persistent storage.
Automate infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and Shell scripting.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging.
Lead a technical team of at least 6 resources and handle customer-facing technical discussions.
Mandatory Key Skills:
• Kubernetes: kubeadm, RKE2, Rancher, OpenShift, etcd, kubectl, Bare Metal.
• Networking: Calico, Cilium, Flannel, MetalLB, CoreDNS, Ingress, TCP/IP, DNS, Routing.
• Linux: RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, systemd, OS hardening, kernel tuning.
• Load Balancers: HAProxy, NGINX, Keepalived.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Apache Cassandra, Replication, Backup & Recovery, High Availability.
• Storage: PV, PVC, CSI Drivers, Ceph/Rook, Longhorn, NFS.
• Automation & CI/CD: Ansible, Terraform, Bash/Shell, Docker, Helm, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.
Good to Have:
Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, ELK/EFK, Argo CD, Flux, GitOps, Kubernetes Security, HashiCorp Vault, Istio, Linkerd, CKA/CKAD/CKS certifications.
Leadership Requirements:
Experience leading/managing a team of at least 6 resources.
Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead technical discussions and infrastructure-sizing activities.
Strong documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
🎯 Ideal Candidate: A hands-on infrastructure expert with strong production Kubernetes, Linux, networking, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra experience, along with technical leadership capabilities.
