JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Databricks Solution Architect to lead solution design and architecture for data engineering and analytics initiatives within the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Databricks, modern data platforms, cloud architecture, and enterprise-scale data solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the architecture and design of scalable data engineering and analytics solutions using Databricks.
Define data platform architecture, technical standards, and implementation best practices.
Design and optimize data pipelines, data models, and data processing workflows.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technical leadership to translate requirements into architectural solutions.
Guide development teams on architecture decisions, performance optimization, and data platform implementation.
Ensure data solutions meet security, governance, scalability, and performance requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS / TECHNOLOGIES:
Strong experience with Databricks architecture and implementation.
Expertise in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, and distributed data processing.
Strong knowledge of Apache Spark, PySpark, and SQL.
Experience designing cloud-based data platforms and enterprise data architectures.
Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and performance optimization.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience in the telecommunications domain.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with data governance, security, and enterprise data lakehouse architectures.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Strong architectural leadership and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Dallas, Texas.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Immediate or short-notice joiners preferred.
